报告题目:基于分形理论的无线多接入信道空间相关性研究及应用

报告摘要:本报告主要介绍了无线信道空间相关性的研究。随着5G技术的发展,致密小区部署和毫米波技术成为主要趋势。考虑到小区覆盖范围缩小且毫米波对环境十分敏感,在5G通信系统中无线信道特征将表现出不可忽视的空间差异性。本报告提出无线蜂窝覆盖边界来表征基站不同方向上的无线信道特征,并引入分形理论来描述其不规则性。通过实际测量基站覆盖边界验证了蜂窝覆盖边界具有分形特性,并分析其对网络性能的影响。同时,利用无线信道的分形特性提出了减少导频开销的信道估计方案和信道编码方案。
报告人简介:陈嘉琦,博士研究生,就读于华中科技大学电子信息与通信学院。陈嘉琦同学本硕博均就读于华中科技大学电子信息与通信学院通信工程专业。博士导师为葛晓虎教授,华中科技大学国家绿色通信与网络国际联合研究中心主任,电信学院副院长。研究方向为分形理论在无线通信领域的应用、信道空间相关性研究、绿色通信等。研究生期间发表期刊论文5篇和会议论文8篇,其中以一作身份发表一篇JCR 1区IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications(IF=6.394)期刊论文。由于学术论文在评审中获得很高的评价,陈嘉琦同学获得2017 IEEE ICC 的学生旅行奖学金和2019 IEEE WCNC 的学生旅行奖学金。
Abstract: This report mainly introduces the research on the spatial correlation of wireless channels. With the development of 5G, Ultra-Dense Network and millimeter wave technology have become irresistible trends. Considering that the cell coverage is reduced and millimeter waves are very sensitive to the environment, the characteristics of wireless channels in 5G communication systems perform spatial differences that cannot be ignored any more. This report proposes wireless cellular coverage boundaries to characterize the characteristics of wireless channels in different directions of a base station, and introduces fractal theory to describe its irregularity. The fractal characteristics of the cellular coverage boundary has been verified by the actual measurement of the coverage boundary of the base station. The impact of the anisotropic environment on the network performance, like coverage probability and handoff rate, are investigated. At the same time, based on the fractal characteristics of wireless channels, the channel estimation scheme and channel coding scheme are proposed to reduce pilot overhead.
