报告题目1:边缘智能与轻量化协同学习

报告人简介:于东晓,国家优秀青年科学基金获得者、山东大学“杰出中青年”特聘教授,山东大学计算机科学与技术学院副院长,主要研究方向包括边缘智能、物联网和数据挖掘。近年来发表学术论文100余篇,获得国际会议最佳论文奖4项(IEEE IPCCC 2020PDCAT 2020CsoNet 2019IIKI 2019)、最佳论文提名奖2项(WASA 2019IEEE MASS 2021)。主持重点研发计划课题、自然科学基金等国家和省部级项目10余项,获得山东省自然科学二等奖1项。担任IEEE TCJCSSIEEE TWC编委、ComCom领域编辑,曾担任CCF C类会议WASA 2020的程序委员会主席和IEEE WCNC 2020程序委员会领域主席,并且是多个国际顶级会议的程序委员会委员。


报告题目2:基于内容理解的十亿级视频检索系统

报告人简介:肖梦白,山东大学教授,齐鲁青年学者。主要从事多媒体系统和大数据系统研究。截止目前已发表学术论文二十余篇,其中CCF-A类国际会议与期刊13篇,获最佳论文提名两次(MM 2016MM 2022)。多项工作被用于实际生产系统中。视频传输系统DASH2M集成于Adobe系统公司Primetime播放器中。基于SSD的索引系统DirectLoad、及视频搜索系统MixerMaze被用于百度产品中;为空间数据库设计的基于RDMA的高性能R-Tree被应用于华为高斯数据库中。

报告人简介:Weihua Zhuang is a University Professor and a Tier I Canada Research Chair in Wireless Communication Networks at University of Waterloo, Canada. Her research focuses on network architecture, algorithms and protocols, and service provisioning in future communication systems. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology from 2007 to 2013, General Co-Chair of 2021 IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC), Technical Program Chair/Co-Chair of 2017/2016 IEEE VTC Fall, and Technical Program Symposia Chair of 2011 IEEE Globecom. She is an elected member of the Board of Governors and the Executive Vice President of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society. Dr. Zhuang is a Fellow of the IEEE, Royal Society of Canada, Canadian Academy of Engineering, and Engineering Institute of Canada.


报告题目2Adaptive Ensemble Q-learning: Minimizing Estimation Bias via Error Feedback

报告人简介:Junshan Zhang is a professor in the ECE Department at University of California Davis. He received his Ph.D. degree from the School of ECE at Purdue University in Aug. 2000, and was on the faculty of the School of ECEE at Arizona State University from 2000 to 2021. His research interests fall in the general field of information networks and data science, including edge AI, reinforcement learning, continual learning, network optimization and control, game theory, with applications in connected and automated vehicles,  5G and beyond, wireless networks, IoT data privacy/security, and smart grid. He is fortunate to be one of the first researchers in the areas of edge computing, cross-layer optimization of wireless networks, and cooperative relaying. Prof. Zhang is a Fellow of the IEEE, and a recipient of the ONR Young Investigator Award in 2005 and the NSF CAREER award in 2003. He received the IEEE Wireless Communication Technical Committee Recognition Award in 2016. His papers have won a few awards, including the Best Student paper at WiOPT 2018, the Kenneth C. Sevcik Outstanding Student Paper Award of ACM SIGMETRICS/IFIP Performance 2016, the Best Paper Runner-up Award of IEEE INFOCOM 2009 and IEEE INFOCOM 2014, and the Best Paper Award at IEEE ICC 2008 and ICC 2017.

报告人简介:Yingying (Jennifer) Chen is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and Peter Cherasia Endowed Faculty Scholar at Rutgers University. She also serves as the Department Chair of ECE. She is the Associate Director of Wireless Information Network Laboratory (WINLAB). She also leads the Data Analysis and Information Security (DAISY) Lab. She is an IEEE Fellow and NAI Fellow. She is also named as an ACM Distinguished Scientist. Her research interests include Applied Machine Learning in Mobile Computing and Sensing, Internet of Things (IoT), Security in AI/ML Systems, Smart Healthcare, and Deep Learning on Mobile Systems. She has published 3 books, 4 book chapters and 200+ journal articles and refereed conference papers. She is the recipient of seven Best Paper Awards in top ACM and IEEE conferences. She is the recipient of NSF CAREER Award and Google Faculty Research Award. She received NJ Inventors Hall of Fame Innovator Award and is also the recipient of IEEE Region 1 Technological Innovation in Academic Award. Her research has been reported in numerous media outlets including MIT Technology Review, CNN, Fox News Channel, Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio and IEEE Spectrum. She has been serving/served on the editorial boards of IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking and ACM Transactions on Privacy and Security.

报告人简介:Shiwen Mao is a professor and Earle C. Williams Eminent Scholar Chair, and Director of the Wireless Engineering Research and Education Center (WEREC) at Auburn University. His research interest includes wireless networks, multimedia communications, and smart grid. He is a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Communications Society and the IEEE Council of RFID, and is on the Editorial Board of IEEE TWC, IEEE TNSE, IEEE TMC, IEEE IoT, IEEE TCCN, IEEE OJ-ComSoc, IEEE/CIC China Communications, IEEE Multimedia, IEEE Network, IEEE Networking Letters, and ACM GetMobile. He received the IEEE ComSoc TC-CSR Distinguished Technical Achievement Award in 2019 and NSF CAREER Award in 2010. He is a co-recipient of the 2021 Best Paper Award of Elsevier/KeAi Digital Communications and Networks Journal, the 2021 IEEE Communications Society Outstanding Paper Award, the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society 2020 Jack Neubauer Memorial Award, the 2004 IEEE Communications Society Leonard G. Abraham Prize in the Field of Communications Systems, and several conference best paper/demo awards. He is a Fellow of the IEEE.

He has researched on computer networking, wireless mobile communications, satellite communications, ad hoc & sensor & mesh networks, UAV networks, smart grid, AI, IoT, Big Data, and pattern recognition. He has published more than 500 papers in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He is the Director of Magazine of IEEE Communications Society. He served as the Vice-President (Member & Global Activities) of IEEE Communications Society (2018-2021), the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Network Magazine(2015-2017), and the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (2017-2021). 讲者简介:崔曙光教授,国家重点研发计划首席科学家,全球高被引学者,IEEE Fellow,深圳市杰出人才培养计划首批入选人,深圳市决策咨询委员会成员。崔教授于2005 年在美国斯坦福大学获得博士学位,先后在UC Davis等多所美国大学任教至讲座教授。回国后曾担任香港中文大学(深圳)杰出校长讲座教授、理工学院执行院长、未来智联网络研究院院长、港中深-京东集团人工智能联合实验室主任,深圳市大数据研究院常务副院长,广东省未来智联网络重点实验室主任。崔教授的科研成果主要集中在数据驱动、AI赋能的大规模系统控制和资源管理。他已在国际一流期刊和会议上发表了350多篇论文,是IEEE 信号处理协会2012 年最佳论文奖获得者,并曾担任多个IEEE 国际会议的主席和程序委员会主席,多个IEEE 国际期刊的指导委员会成员、主席,多个IEEE 国际期刊的编委和领域主编,IEEE 无线技术委员会的主席。他在2013 年当选IEEE Fellow,在2014 年入选汤森路透全球高被引科学家名单,ScienceWatch 的全球最具影响力科学家名单。 崔教授在20202021年获得IEEE ICC最佳论文奖,IEEE ICIP最佳论文列表,IEEE GLOBECOM最佳论文奖,中国ICT2020创新应用奖,IEEE WCNC 最佳论文奖,CCF Chinagraph首个图形开源数据集奖,中国电子学会自然科学一等奖,中国通信学会技术发明一等奖。在2022年,崔教授当选新一届IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing旗舰期刊主编。

报告人简介:Song Guo is a Full Professor at Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He also holds a Changjiang Chair Professorship awarded by the Ministry of Education of China. His research interests are mainly in federated learning, edge AI, mobile computing, and distributed systems. He published many papers in top venues with wide impact in these areas and was recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher (Clarivate Web of Science). Prof. Guo is the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Open Journal of the Computer Society, and has been named on editorial board of IEEE TC, IEEE TPDS, IEEE TCC, IEEE TETC, ACM CSUR, etc. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, Fellow of the IEEE, and Member of Academia Europaea.
